Mammalian Expression: N-Terminal Tag

We offer gene synthesis and custom DNA cloning services for expression of a N-terminal epitope-tagged or fluorescent fusion protein in mammalian cell lines. Epitopes include FLAG, MYC, HA, and V5 for immunological detection and eGFP, eYFP, DsRed, and mCherry for fluorescent detection. Our system also allows you to choose a promoter (CMV or EF-1 alpha) and selection (Neomycin, Blasticidin, or Hygromycin).

Simply enter the name of your construct, the DNA sequence of your coding sequence (or upload a fasta file with multiple sequences), select your choice of promotor, selectable marker, and N-terminal tag.

Important: The DNA cannot have any spaces, must be a multiple of 3, and be less than 5000 nucleotides (see Description below).

Description

Recombinant DNA made simple!

Our comprehensive cloning service allows users to simply enter the DNA sequence of the coding sequence (CDS) then choose a C-terminal epitope tag of fluorescent fusion protein, promoter, and the desired mammalian antibiotic.

Notes on Ordering: The DNA of the CDS must be a multiple of 3 and cannot have spaces to ensure the proper reading frame is designed. Adding the start (ATG) or stop (TAA, TGA, TAG) codons is optional.  Multiple DNA sequences contained in a single fasta file will contain the same vector elements chosen for that order.  If you have multiple sequences and want different elements, these should be entered separately.

Based on your choices, a vector will be designed, and a pdf will be sent via email prior to the start of synthesis.  If you notice any issues with your vector, please contact customer service within 24 hours.  Apheon Bioscience is not responsible for errors input or uploaded by the user after production begins.

If the desired vector elements do not meet your needs, please fill out the custom vector onboarding form and we will on-board your vector, often free of charge.

Currently, clones are delivered as a bacterial stock.
