The H3K27me3 ChIP-Right magnetic beads are a recombinant antibody fragments that was selected against a branched peptide of Histone H3 lysine 27 trimethylated (H3K27me3). The recombinant antibody variable domain is produced in bacteria then super-coated onto a paramagnetic bead for greater binding and improved ChIP results. The improved binding achieved with super-coating the recombinant antibody fragment directly to the beads provides improved signal to noise for better and more consistent ChIP results. Background signals due to non-specific binding from polyclonal antibodies or Protein A is eliminated.
