DNA Cloning-Bacterial Expression
DNA cloning services for bacterial expression and affinity purification.
Affinity tags include Glutathione S-Transferase (GST), Maltose Binding Proteins (MBP) or 6 histidine (His) tags.
Use the Design as You Order system to simply enter the name of your construct, the DNA sequence of your coding sequence (or upload a fasta file with multiple sequences), select your choice of promotor (T7 or tac), selectable marker, and affinity tag.
Important: The DNA cannot have any spaces, must be a multiple of 3, and be less than 5000 nucleotides (see Description below).

DNA Cloning for bacterial expression made simple!
Use our comprehensive cloning service for bacterial expression constructs. Simply enter the DNA sequence of the coding sequence (CDS) and choose the affinity tag, promoter, and antibiotic from the dropdown selectors.
Notes on Ordering: The DNA of the CDS must be a multiple of 3 and cannot have spaces to ensure the proper reading frame is designed. Adding the start (ATG) or stop (TAA, TGA, TAG) codons is optional. Multiple DNA sequences uploaded as a single fasta file will contain the same vector elements chosen for that order. If you have multiple sequences and want different elements, they should be entered separately.
Based on your selections, a vector will be designed, and a pdf will be sent via email prior to the start of synthesis. If you notice any issues with your vector, please contact customer service within 24 hours. Apheon Bioscience is not responsible for errors input or uploaded by the user after the start of production.

Clones are delivered as a bacterial stab along with a plasmid DNA at 100 ng/ul.
